1. Information only

We provide free, independent information to help you compare UK energy suppliers, tariffs and technologies. Calculator results, rates and savings are estimates based on published benchmarks and the details you enter. They are not quotes or financial advice. Always confirm prices and contract terms with the supplier before you switch.

2. Independence

We are not an energy supplier or broker and are not paid by suppliers to rank them. If that ever changes, we will say so clearly on the relevant pages.

3. Emergencies

This website is not an emergency service. If you smell gas, call 0800 111 999. For a power cut, call 105.

4. Reviews and content you submit

• Reviews must be your own honest experience of the supplier.
• Do not include personal information, offensive content or anything you were paid or incentivised to write.
• We moderate reviews before publishing and may reject or remove any review that breaks these rules.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site, for example by trying to access the admin area, overloading our systems, scraping at high volume or submitting spam through our forms.

6. Liability

We work hard to keep information accurate but cannot guarantee it is complete or up to date, as prices change often. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on estimates on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
